29 Faces--#12 and #13

Frankly, I'm tired of these faces. Not faces in general, because faces are always interesting, but THESE faces. This perspective, this lighting, this technique (for these faces anyway). So this might be it for now. I have other projects in the works. I have seen other things that other people have done that I would like to try, so I think I will.

I'm still two days behind on the 29 faces challenge.

Why is the picture with the old woman with the hat smaller here than the one below it? The original is over twice as big. The file is over twice as big. The settings here are the same. I am at the mercy of these computer programs.....

  1. I still like your faces. Looking forward to what else you'll come up with. And yes, the mysteries of the computer programs ... I know exactly what you're talking about ;-)

  2. These are awesome! I understand that one can get tired of using the same technique, especially if it is very laborious... Anyway, looking forward seeing more of your work, be it faces or something else!

  3. I especially like #11. I can't tell you why the computer makes some pictures bigger than others. It may all be a plot to make us crazy? Keep drawing!

  4. Your faces are incredible! So expressive and interesting. This technique is striking. They almost look like woodcuts. I understand wanting to try something different, though.

  5. #12 is fascinating, I want to know what's she's seeing.

How are you uploading your pictures, are you using blogger or an outside source? You can also go to html mode and specify the dimensions the page shows.

  6. Every single face you made so far in this laborious challenge, is amazing! Don't give up, just keep experimenting. And if, by the end of september, you didn't get to 29, that's okay too, isn't it? You will have a great collection of awesome faces anyway!
