So here are a few assorted sketches from the last several weeks, two from the newspaper that I did at school when I was bored (you know, when the kids were all working and didn't want me looking over their shoulders, and I didn't feel like grading), and the other from an 8 hour car ride when I was bored. I imagine it's pretty obvious which is which.
I'd like to know what the girls were talking about in the top illo. I like their expressions. It tells a story we're not in on.

ReplyDeleteI love your musings included with your sketches:-) And seems like I can learn a lot from you in sketching! I like how the faces are detailed and then the rest are merely suggestions. The hands are great - the combination of many has an abstract quality to it that is very interesting!
