Illustration Friday: Scattered
By the time you are the age of this woman, your children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren are scattered far and wide. It has to be okay, though, because you raised them right, and they are doing exactly what they should be doing.

Lovely thought and the illustration is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gavin! Haven't quite reached her stage yet but our family is already scattered all over the world!
ReplyDeletecool picture. Very detailed. I kinda hope that they don't scatter though :(
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog. :-) I would be curious to see what you could do with several "iterations" of a piece as well. Looking at this blog, I'm quite certain each would be stunning! I love your style. :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog this week. Lovely illustrations. I like the others too that have the ink spots on them. I am a sucker for texture so was drawn to them.
ReplyDeleteAmazing details!
ReplyDeleteScary thought to be so old, but then what's the alternative? Always love the energy you put into your lines.
ReplyDeleteThis is great - another beautiful line drawing! Whenever I see someone old such as in this illustration, I think of what they may have been like when they were young. Yes, time scatters!
ReplyDeletewowza, now this women and the walnut I had for lunch (I am on a diet) have a lot in common. Those eyes are haunting, eerily empty yet have seen so much. Duality and enigma is good.
