Here's another dancing picture. I started four all at once. This one taught me (reminded me, really, because I DID know this before) to not do things in the negative space that you're not going to do in the positive space so that you don't have the negative space being one kind of thing and the positive space being another.
Having said that, though, I do love the dancing couple.....
You've captured it! Movement, emotion--very nice!
ReplyDeleteThis is great!! Their face expression ......good, good, good
ReplyDeleteBeautiful--and the last one, too.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely images! That's a good rule to remember,I haven't heard it before but it's so true! I wish I'd heard it years ago!xx
ReplyDeleteActually, I think it works. It's as if they have coalesced/become specific in the general inky flow. Rules were made to be broken!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought when I saw this was "ooohhhh" - I love it! The faces and the movement are wonderful. Don't know about the positive and negative space but this works for me
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful!
ReplyDeletelove both these dancer pictures, you've certainly captured the joy in them
ReplyDeleteWell if it was a mystake, it was a fortunate one!! I like the fact that all we see (the focus) is on the dancers and hooo the expression is sooo exquisite...I like to see the joy on their face.. I want to grow old just like that!!! Happy and dancing and enjoying life in the moment. We do not see enough "real" people with wrinkles and grey hairs nowdays... :)
ReplyDeleteoh, they're alive!
ReplyDeleteAnd making their own space.
