So...I got this new Painter program as a kind of new "toy," mostly because my new computer didn't have any kind of rudimentary painter program on it like all my old computers did, and I used them for doodling while talking on the phone, or when I got home from school just too fried to do anything else, and I missed it.
But I don't know how to use this program. So I figured if I just play around with it every day that I'll figure a few things out, and I supposed I have, but all the little experiments I've done are absolute crap. This is the only one I like even a little bit.
But I'll probably keep playing around. I just hope it doesn't interfere with me doing other things....
Well so far so good! I think it's not bad considering digital is so sterile and tactless as opposed to dirty and tactile!
ReplyDeleteI can't draw at all with my wacoom. I do better with my bad hand and a mouse!
I think one thing in big drawings is that you can move from the shoulder. With a wacom you move from the wrist - just a bit

Hey thanks! I'll check those out. I'm finding the table pretty unsatisfactory, and yes, I much prefer the dirty and tactile, but on the other hand, it's kindof fun. I like the tablet way better than the mouse.
