This is not the picture I'm wanting to put up, but I've only begun the "real" resolution pictures, and this is a little doodle I did in the meantime.
Here are a couple quotes worthy of resolutions:

and William Cullens Bryant in his poem "Thanatopsis":

I can deal with resolutions like that.
It kinda sounds like Bryant is advocating being a couch potato, that's a resolution I can wrap myself around like drapery and dream. :D Wonderful illustration.
ReplyDeletelol at what erin said...;) I like how the drawing, at the bottom, has a slightly dark, perhaps ominous feel to it, and a more airy, lighter top - perhaps I'm reminded of the fireworks of New Year's eve? ;) The result - to me - is something bold and straightforward and ...perhaps I'm influened by the poems but I think also 'hopeful' fits. well done. :)

ReplyDeleteMy resolution for this year is just to "show up" for myself. I'm always there for everyone else and I wonder why I feel so unfulfilled and depleted. So from now on, the oxygen mask goes on me first ;)
