Obsessive Swirly Things

These aren't new.  I made them a week or two ago.  I'm really really really ready to stop with them.  And the pictures are bad, because they're way too big for the scanner, and I can't take a decent picture with my crappy point-and-shoot, and they reflect light, and I can't take them outside and put them down on the sidewalk, because it's snowing, even though it was supposed to be 50F today.

Intaglio projects

I've been working on these plates once, and sometimes twice a week.  This is a fairly new one--three stages--one for some initial lines, which you could barely see because the acid had gotten too week, one for a printer-toner wash resist which has a really cool grainy wavery texture, and one for more lines.

This one is also fairly new, also three stages--initial lines, aquatint, and then more lines.  I'm pretty pleased with both of these.

The last two are ones I've been working on for weeks.  They were my initial "experimental" pieces, on scraps of copper I found in the box of scraps.  I'm very close to being done with them, not because I'm happy with them, but because I'm sick of them.
